Getting Started with Libby ?

Libby is a free app that lets you borrow eBooks and audiobooks from your local library. All you need is a library card!

1. Get a Library Card

Already have a library card? You're ready to go!

  • If you don't have one, visit your local public library's website and look for “Get a Library Card,” “Apply for a Card,” or “eCard.”

Many libraries allow you to apply online and may provide immediate or temporary digital access. Depending on your library, you may be asked to:

  • Provide your name and contact information
  • Verify that you live, work, attend school, or own property in the library's service area
  • Provide identification or proof of address
  • Visit a library branch to complete registration

Tip: Search online for “library card + your city or county” to find your local library system.
