Healthcare Simulation Week is September 14–18, and the Communications & Connections Committee is celebrating the people whose experiences, expertise, and behind-the-scenes work make human simulation possible.

In addition to our upcoming SP VOICES panel(Wed Sept 16, 10:00 a.m. ET)we're inviting the ASPE community to help us tell that story through two special features for the blog and socials.

We're inviting SP Educators around the world to share the leadership, expertise, relationship-building, adaptability, and behind-the-scenes work that their job titles don't always capture.

Through a few short reflection questions, we're asking educators to tell us about everything from what happens when no simulation is scheduled to recruiting and sustaining SP relationships, managing the unexpected, and supporting learners through difficult moments.

Share a brief experience in writing and/or through short selfie videos. Responses may be featured across ASPE's social channels or in a written “Hidden Work of the SP Educator” feature during Healthcare Simulation Week.

Short videos should be conversational and in your own words — under 1 min per response.

What is it really like to be an SP?

We're inviting SPs around the world to share their experiences, from funny and surprising simulation moments to the experiences that demonstrate why this work matters.
